Match preview: Dundee United (H)

We are back to Rugby Park for William Hill Premiership action this weekend as we welcome Dundee United to Ayrshire.

We are still aiming to pick up our first league win of the season after picking up back-to-back draws in our last two matches against Hibernian and St Mirren.

On a positive note, we’ve won our last three matches against Dundee United without conceding a goal (3-0, 1-0, 1-0) – and the last time the Arabs picked up three points at Rugby Park was May 2016, and you have to go back to 2013 for their previous league win in East Ayrshire.

Dundee United picked up two wins and two draws from their opening four league matches before suffering their first defeat to Rangers in the last round of games.

Last 5 form:

Killie: St Mirren (2-2 D), Hibernian (1-1 D), Copenhagen (1-1 D), Aberdeen (0-2 L), Copenhagen (0-2 L)

Dundee United: Motherwell (1-2 L), Rangers (0-1 L), Hearts (1-0 W), St Johnstone (2-0 W), St Mirren (1-0 W)

Tickets for the clash will remain on sale right up until kick-off, and it will be shown live to international Killie TV customers, while UK-based subscribers can tune-in for audio presented by John Barnes and Tom Callaghan.

Our latest signing Jack Burroughs is our cover star for the issue 4 of the magazine that’s in shops starting this weekend.

Two days after joining Derek McInnes’ squad, our new right-back found himself making his debut at Parken against F.C. Copenhagen. In this month’s feature-length interview, the Scotland under-21 cap talks to Killie Magazine about the background to the move, how he was able to adjust so quickly, and his own favourite team in blue.
