Match Preview: Dundee United (A)

Scottish Premiership – Matchday 28

Saturday 21st – February – 3pm | Tannadice Park, Dundee

Last Time Out: Killie

Killie looked set for a strong result but were ultimately beaten 3–2 by Celtic in a dramatic finish at Rugby Park. After an early chance for Findlay Curtis, Killie took control with Tyreece John-Jules opening the scoring with a superb curling strike before turning provider for Joe Hugill to head home a second before half-time. Celtic responded early in the second half through Sebastian Tounekti and Benjamin Nygren to level the match and despite Killie’s efforts to hold on, the visitors snatched all three points with a stoppage-time winner in the seventh added minute.

Last Time Out:  Dundee United

Dundee United head into the match after a hard-fought 2–1 Scottish Cup win over Spartans, despite playing most of the game with 10 men. Iurie Iovu was sent off early on, but United responded well as captain Ross Graham headed them in front before Amar Fatah doubled their lead after the break. Spartans pulled one back late through Mark Stowe to set up a tense finish, but United held firm under pressure to secure the win.
