Magennis joins the midfield!

Kilmarnock FC are pleased to announce the signing of Kyle Magennis who has joined the club on a two-year deal, pending SFA approval.

The box-to-box midfielder first emerged onto the scene with St Mirren, making his first-team debut in 2016. Kyle went on to earn more than 100 appearances for his local side, before being officially named as club captain at the age of 21.

The former Scotland youth international joins from Hibernian, having spent the past three years with the capital-based club.

Speaking after penning the contract, Kyle commented: “The gaffer has always been interested in me and he’s someone I wanted to work with, so over the past few weeks the move has fallen into place.

“It’s a fresh start for me. I’ve had a tough few seasons with injuries, but I’m feeling good and ready to go. I know that if I’m playing, I’ll be a big asset to the club.”
