Loan Watch: Familiar Faces and Derby Days

Four Kilmarnock players started for their respective loan clubs at the weekend, continuing to gain valuable first-team minutes across the Scottish divisions. From Ayrshire Derby wins to uniting with familiar faces, the Killie boys were at the centre of attention.

Kerr McInroy played the full 90 for Partick Thistle as they secured a point in The Highlands with a 0-0 draw against Inverness. The midfielder has enjoyed a solid start to the season for the Jags, scoring three times in nine appearances.

Bobby Wales made his second start for Alloa Athletic having joined the Scottish league One side a fortnight ago. Bobby played 70 minutes for The Wasps against Montrose, before being replaced by former Killie man Conor Sammon. The young attacker has since joined up with Billy Stark’s Scotland Under-19s squad in Pinatar.

Kian Leslie played 68 minutes for Clyde as they fell to Dumbarton in Scottish League Two. The 18-year-old winger was named in the squad alongside former academy teammates Jon Craig and Cameron Mulvanny. Kian made a quickfire start to life with The Bully Wee, assisting on the first of his seven appearances.

Aiden Glavin made a series of saves as Auchinleck Talbot defeated rivals Cumnock Juniors in a fierce local derby at Townhead Park. The 18-year-old goalkeeper marked his eleventh appearance for the club since joining in July.
