Limited-edition Cup Winners Whisky Released

Get ready to make a toast to the cup winners with a 12-year-old blended malt whisky which has been unveiled as the newest addition to Kilmarnock Football Club’s collector’s item catalogue.

With copies of the 150th anniversary book also restocked, don’t miss the chance to snap up two limited-edition collectables that would take pride of place in the home of any Killie supporter.

Cup Winners Blend

Mixed in partnership with local distillers, The Lost Distillery Company, the club has created a true one-of-a-kind collector’s item for Killie and whisky fans alike.

A blended Scotch whisky has been specially chosen by the distillery’s head archivist to commemorate the club’s 1997 Scottish Cup win and the 10-year anniversary of the League Cup triumph, with hand-selected single malts carefully married in a bourbon cask to create a whisky that shines like that special day back in 2012.

Sweet at the front of the tongue, savoury through the palate. The blend will take you on an aromatic journey through notes of vanilla, honey, tropical fruit, cinnamon, walnuts, apple and chocolate, with a creamy and medium-length finish.

A very limited run of bottles have been made exclusively available to Kilmarnock FC.

Kilmarnock FC: 150 Years in the Making

The superstore has also restocked copies of the 150th anniversary book ‘Kilmarnock FC: 150 Years in the Making’.

Originally released in 2019, the book is a pictorial history of Kilmarnock FC, written by Richard Cairns and club historian John Livingston. Running from the first official documentation surrounding Killie right through to the glorious Steve Clarke era, it charts a century and a half of triumph, tragedy, adventures and adversity through snapshots of the club’s most memorable moments.

Alongside a restock of the original hardbacks, 50 leather-bound collector’s copies featuring printed signatures of the 1965, 1997 and 2012 cup-winning captains have also been released.

Where to purchase…

The Cup Winners Blend is available to pick up from the Killie Superstore, while copies of the 150th anniversary book can be purchased in store or from the club’s online shop.
