Kilmarnock FC pays respect to KFCDSA Chair Peter Orr

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Peter Orr, our Disabled Supporters Liaison Officer of over 30 years, who died in hospital following a short battle with illness.

He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

Peter, the chair of KFCDSA who served as DSLO, was a passionate and lifelong supporter of Kilmarnock FC for over 70 years, and a tireless advocate for disabled supporters. His commitment to making matchdays more inclusive and accessible was rooted in his own lived experience and his deep love for the club.

Widely known and respected within the Killie community, Peter was never afraid to speak up on issues that mattered. His contributions were always made with the thoughts of fellow supporters at heart, and they helped drive important and necessary conversations across Scottish football.

Above all, Peter will be remembered as a kind, principled and devoted supporter who gave his time freely for the benefit of others. His presence at BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park, and his work behind the scenes, made a lasting difference to our club and to those who share his passion for Kilmarnock FC.

The thoughts of everyone at Kilmarnock Football Club are with Peter’s wife Mae, another of our longstanding staff, his family, friends and loved ones at this very difficult time.

Peter’s contribution to the club will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed.
