Kilmarnock FC Partner with Isle of Cumbrae Distillers LTD to create bespoke Killie Gin

We are proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the multi-award-winning Isle of Cumbrae Distillers Ltd to create Killie Gin, the official gin of Kilmarnock FC.

A celebration of Ayrshire heritage, craftsmanship, and community spirit, Killie Gin is a beautifully balanced spirit infused with locally inspired botanicals including raspberry, lavender, orange, and heather. The result is a refreshingly smooth, handcrafted gin that reflects the character and warmth of the club, its supporters, and the region it calls home.

Killie Gin is presented in a striking bottle featuring original artwork by Adam Greig, a lifelong Killie fan and acclaimed local artist. The design pays tribute to the club’s storied past, with nods to the legendary 1965 title-winning team, iconic architectural landmarks, and a heartfelt homage to the late Malky McCormick, whose illustrations and spirit continue to inspire generations of supporters.

Gregg McEwan, General Manager of Kilmarnock FC, said:

“This partnership represents everything that matters to us as a club. It’s about celebrating our community, working with exceptional local partners, and creating something that truly reflects Ayrshire pride. Isle of Cumbrae Distillers share our passion for local craftsmanship, and it’s been fantastic to collaborate with Adam Greig, another talented Ayrshire creator.”

Killie Gin stands as a celebration of local people, local history, and local pride. Crafted with care by Isle of Cumbrae Distillers and inspired by the passion of the Killie faithful, it represents a true Ayrshire spirit distilled for the community that shaped it.

Struan Fraser, Managing Director of Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, added:

“Caroline and I are thrilled to join forces with Kilmarnock FC, a club with such deep roots, heritage, and significance to Ayrshire. Expanding our Ayrshire portfolio with Killie Gin is a milestone for us, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed blending our expertise with the club’s vision. This collaboration has been a joy from start to finish, and we’re incredibly proud to play a part in celebrating the region and its people.”

About the Artwork – by Adam Greig

“Killie Spirit sums up what this club means to me. Passion, pride, friendship, and community. These are the values I’ve tried to capture in this artwork.

There are touches of surrealism throughout, a playful reflection of the club’s rich history. Paper Roses grow from the pitch in tribute to our anthem, while red squirrels run amok at Rugby Park.

At the heart of the piece is one of my childhood heroes, the late Malky McCormick, a Kilmarnock man through and through, whose illustrations captured the spirit of countless Killie players. Here, I’ve depicted Malky doing what he did best, with his creations coming to life before his very eyes.

The players are modelled after the 1965 team, wearing a classic strip that taps into the nostalgia and romanticism that define this great club and the beautiful game itself.

Slàinte Mhath, and Mon the Killie!”
