Kilmarnock 1-1 Dundee United | Under 19s

Kilmarnock’s Under 19s fought hard to get a goal back after conceding in an outstanding, attacking game on Tuesday, 25th November, 2025.

Killie got off to a fast pace start with Cooper Eaglesham missing a shot in the 12th minute. Dundee United were then on the attack to get themselves a goal but the shot just went wide. Aaron Davis responded fast for Killie, taking a shot on target but the visiting goalkeeper saved it just before it could hit the back of the net. Killie was then rewarded a penalty after Dundee United’s number 4 made a foul on Euan Bowie. Craig Watson hit the ball, aiming for the bottom right corner but Dundee United’s goalkeeper got down just in time to save it. Killie go on to have multiple chances to score in the rest of the first half but couldn’t find the one to put themselves ahead before half time. 

Adam Law then came on for Cooper Eaglesham as he went off injured just before half time. Dundee United came out fighting at the start of the second half and ended up scoring on the 47th minute. More substitutions were then made for Killie, bringing on Archie Traynor and Remo Margiotta and taking off Aaron Davis and Noah Simpson. 

Substitue, Remo Margiotta, made a flying start for Killie when he came on, winning them a penalty as he was fouled by Dundee United’s number 5. Archie Traynor stepped up and hit a powerful shot and got the ball in the bottom right corner, getting the equaliser for Killie on the 66th minute. Killie was then back on the attack to find the winner. Substitute, Logan Foster, finds the back of the net with a thunderous shot on the 84th minute but it was ruled offside. Killie were trying hard to get the winner with shots from Archie Traynor and Cole Coughlin but neither of them could seal the victory for Killie.   

The match ended level, reflecting the hard fought battle between the two teams.
