Innes Cameron signs on for two years

Innes Cameron has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Kilmarnock, subject to SFA approval, as Tommy Wright begins his squad revamp.

The towering 20-year-old striker and academy graduate has enjoyed profitable loan spells over the past few seasons at Stranraer, Ayr and Alloa Athletic, getting in among the goals.

And now by committing his future to Rugby Park, the Ayrshire lad hopes to make an impression for Killie in the Championship.

“I’m thrilled to be here for another two years, I wanted to get out on loan and play football and I feel like I’ve done well. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stay.

“It was horrible to see the club get relegated, watching on and not be able to do anything about it. I know the Championship well and I think we’ve got a real opportunity to bounce back.”
