Injury update: Brad Lyons out for three months

Brad Lyons is set to be sidelined until April after a knee operation.

The midfielder, who has made 26 appearance for Kilmarnock this season, sustained an injury against Dundee on December 30th and had to undergo surgery last week.

Kyle Magennis also had an operation recently on his hamstring which sees him out for “a while”.

On the injuries, Derek McInnes said: “We’ve got two significant injuries, Kyle Magennis has had an operation on his hamstring so he’ll be out for a while.

“Brad Lyons has had an operation, he had to come off against Dundee and that now rules him out for the next 10 weeks or so.

“It’s two boys that have been really influential this season, it’s a real blow losing them, but we have to deal with these injuries.”

Innes Cameron has returned to full fitness and will be available for selection against Dundee, and Liam Donnelly has returned to full training.
