Injury update ahead of Celtic (A)

Derek McInnes has offered an injury update ahead of our trip to Celtic this weekend.

He has confirmed that Robbie Deas [face] is edging closer to a return and could be back in full training next week.

The boss also confirmed Kyle Magennis [hamstring] is likely to be out for the rest of the season, with Brad Lyons [knee] aiming to get back to full fitness before the post-split matches.

McInnes said: “Robbie Deas is out, but he has been fitted now for a mask, hopefully he can resume full training next week which is a real bonus. The surgeon was really happy with how it is progressing.

“Brad Lyons and Kyle Magennis are the longer term injuries, Brad we might get back before the split or round about it, but Kyle is likely to be out for the season.”
