Hospital visit brings Christmas cheer to kids at Crosshouse

The blue and white stripes were swapped for Christmas jumpers as Kilmarnock players dropped in to share season’s greetings at Crosshouse Hospital’s children’s ward on Monday, 19th December.

In partnership with the Crosshouse Children’s Fund, the club was thrilled to spend some quality time with young patients and welcomed a return of the annual ‘in-person’ visit for the first time since the pandemic, following virtual visits over the past couple of years.

Squad members Rory McKenzie, Sam Walker, Chris Stokes, Alan Power and Danny Armstrong earned their place on the nice list by delivering the Christmas cheer, in addition to some Killie-themed gifts.

The children were left with big smiles and a stocking worth of goodies, including: soft toys, signed Killie calendars, stickers and even copies of Captain Conker & the Dastardly Plan.
