Hibernian 2-2 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock picked up a hard-fought draw in the capital against Hibernian.
It ended 2-2 at Easter Road after the Hibees raced into a 2-0 lead.
Stuart Kettlewell made three changes to the side, with Brad Lyons, George Stanger and Tom Lowery dropping out for Rory McKenzie, Robbie Deas and a debutant Ethan Brown.
Marcus Dackers had a decent chance in the 15th minute after some nice skill and a cross from Ben Brannan – but the big striker’s header was fired wide.
Hibs then fired themselves in front as Rocky Bushiri headed home from a free-kick to make it 1-0 in the 20thminute.
Seven minutes later it was 2-0 as Elie Youan finished well after being slipped through on goal.
Killie pulled one back just before half-time after great work from Marcus Dackers who carved out a chance for Liam Polworth – the midfielder made no mistake as he slid in to poke it into the net.
Immediately after the break Ben Brannan scored an incredible goal as he took a volley first time from over 20 yards out and saw it dip into the net.
A few minutes later there was a golden chance for the visitors to take the lead, Djenairo Daniels did well to get the ball and work his way through on goal, but he opted to shoot from distance rather than play through the unmarked David Watson and saw his shot fly over.
Killie continued to press, both sides had their chances but ultimately it ended in a 2-2 draw.
