Free entry to Under-18s league decider

Kilmarnock will host St Johnstone in a clash that will crown the champions of this season’s CAS Performance Under-18s league.

Killie currently sit second in the Under-18s league table, with final day opponents St Johnstone leading the way on goal difference going into the final round of fixtures.

Supporters are offered free entry to the Moffat Stand for the season finale, which will kick-off at 5pm on Friday 26th May.

Speaking ahead of the match, Under-18s Coach, Craig Clark, commented: “This group have shown a never give up attitude and given themselves a chance to win something, which doesn’t happen often in academy football.

“The game on Friday will take care of itself, but the boys will have just as much appetite as they have shown for every game.

“They’ve displayed a level of consistency when it has mattered. I said to them that we had three cup finals to play as they had to beat Ayr and get something against Queen’s Park. They got that so fair play to them: they’ve given themselves the opportunity to be here.”

The Under-18s coach also discussed a number of other topics, including the benefits of this season’s successful reserve cup campaign, the emergence of David Watson and Bobby Wales, and Ruari Ellis’ journey to the Under-17 European Championships. You can listen to the full interview – HERE.
