BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, Kilmarnock.

KILMARNOCK

Neil McCann’s side fell to another defeat on road at the hands of Aberdeen. A solitary goal by Aremu after only 50 seconds was enough to seal the deal for the Dons, who somehow managed to see the game out without the visitors finding the net to claim all three points in the first of the bottom six fixtures.

The visitors smacked the crossbar no less than three times. Aaron Tshibola came close on two occasions, while Jack Milne very nearly put the ball in his own net when trying to defend a dangerous delivery by Tom Lowery.

Max Stryjek returned to the team for his first appearance since undergoing heart surgery in November. His last outing came in a 2-0 home victory over St Mirren on October 4th. Moldovan international Nicky Cleșcenco was also drafted in for his first start since joining the club in January.

DUNDEE UTD

Jim Goodwin’s side claimed the bragging rights on derby day in the City of Discovery last weekend as they put their nearby rivals to the sword with a 3-0 win against Dundee.

Will Ferry was on the scoresheet twice, albeit he knew very little about the opener as the ball deflected in after an attempted clearance at the back. He then provided an assist for the third and final goal, which was headed in at the back stick by opposite full-back Ryan Strain.
