Corrie Ndaba: We want three wins in a row

Corrie Ndaba insists Kilmarnock are desperate to end their Highland hoodoo.

The Ayrshire side have been waiting over seven years for a win in Dingwall – with the last victory coming in March 2017.

And left back Ndaba firmly stated that these kinds of records don’t even cross the players’ minds and that it’s all focus once they cross that white line.

With Killie heading up north this weekend hoping to make it three wins in a row, Ndaba said: “Obviously there’s a very good mood in the camp, but we know we have to get the job done this weekend as well.

“We always believe we can put a performance together, training’s been good as well, so hopefully we can stay at that level and get the win.

“Good form obviously breeds confidence, it’s six unbeaten, but there were a few draws that we probably could have had wins, and we obviously always want to improve, three points is the main thing, so that’s what we’ll be looking for at the weekend.”

Ndaba continued: “I’ll be honest, I don’t read into these kind of stats, I didn’t even know that was a record, so I’m going up there hoping to win.

“I want to win every game, and I’m sure all the lads are the same, we know what they’re like, they’re quite physical, it’ll be a tough game, but we’re going up there to win.”

Killie are getting set for a tricky week on the road with three away games in eight days – with trips to Tynecastle and Dens Park following this weekend’s Highland trip.

Ndaba says it can be beneficial having a hectic schedule despite the lack of rest time.

He said: “You don’t really think about it, you’re almost getting a rhythm of just game, game, game, so bring it on, as I say.

“It can be better having a run like this at times, sometimes it’s really good, if you have a good performance, you just want to get back out there and play a game again, getting your rhythm, because there’s a lot of breaks as well.

“We had a good win at Dundee and there was a break, you don’t really want to be waiting around, so if the games are coming I’m happy.”
