Captain Conker to take on the Kiltwalk in support of local young people

Kilmarnock FC’s beloved mascot, Captain Conker, is getting set to take on the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025, to raise vital funds for The Killie Community and its life changing programmes for young people from low income backgrounds and with additional support needs. And he’s calling on fans to get behind him!

Through The Killie Community, hundreds of local youngsters who need it most are benefitting from free access to football, sport, and opportunities for an active, healthy lifestyle. These programmes remove financial and physical barriers, ensuring that every child regardless of circumstance has the chance to be part of something.

There are three fantastic ways you can play your part in making this a success:

  1. Click here to donate to Captain Conker’s JustGiving page – every contribution, big or small, helps fund The Killie Community’s work with young people. Your support means more children will have access to football, sport, and the health benefits that come with an active lifestyle. Every penny raised will go directly towards giving local kids the chance to play, grow, and thrive.
  2. Get Your School Involved – if your school’s pupils or staff collectively raise over £100, Captain Conker will visit their ‘Daily Mile’ walk as part of his training for the Kiltwalk! Imagine the excitement of having Kilmarnock FC’s favourite mascot joining your school’s walk—an unforgettable experience for local youngsters and a great way to promote physical activity in the community.
  3. Join Captain Conker on the Kiltwalk – for those who want to join your favourite mascot on Sunday 27th April, you can sign up here for the ‘Wee Wander’ at 10am (limited spaces available) of the Glasgow Kiltwalk, and be part of an unforgettable day. Let us know you’re coming, and whether you’re walking as a family, with friends, or as part of a local school or community group.
