Club representatives elected to SPFL & SWPL boards


Kilmarnock Football Club can confirm that several of our representatives have been elected to SPFL & SWPL boards for the 2026/27 season.

Club director Phyllis Carroll has been re-elected to the SPFL board for the Scottish Premiership, having also served on the board last season.

Non-executive director, Cathy Jamieson, has been newly elected to the SWPL board as the SWPL 2 representative.

Gregg McEwan, our general manager, remains part of the SPFL’s competitions working group and Scottish football marketing board, meanwhile, club secretary Karen Costello has been selected to stay on the league governing body’s rules and regulations group.

Elected to serve on the 26/27 SPFL Board, alongside SPFL group chief executive Neil Doncaster, chairman Murdoch MacLennan and independent non-executive director Karyn McCluskey, were:

  • William Hill Premiership: Malcolm McPherson (Hibernian), Phyllis Carroll (Kilmarnock), Michael Nicholson (Celtic)
  • William Hill Championship: Willie Houston (Ayr United), David Cook (Dunfermline Athletic)
  • William Hill League 1 and League 2: Andrew Allan (Alloa Athletic); Alternate director Iain Dougan (Stranraer)
