Celtic 5-1 Kilmarnock


Kilmarnock fell to a disappointing defeat at Celtic Park on Saturday, April 12th 2025.

Celtic opened the scoring after 9 minutes as Reo Hatate’s shot from 25 yards was fired into the top corner.

Two minutes later it was 2-0 when Daizen Maeda had a simple task of tapping in from a yard out at the back post.

Liam Scales had a good opportunity from long distance in the 15th minute – but Kieran O’Hara did well to save.

Cameron Carter-Vickers made it 3-0 after 21 minutes with a powerful strike from outside the box into the top corner.

It was then 4 thanks to Hatate who doubled his money by bagging a brace.

Killie pulled one back just before the half-hour mark thanks to Danny Armstrong who curled a lovely effort over Viljami Sinisalo to make it 4-1.

Anthony Ralston scored a late goal to seal the 5-1 scoreline.
