Capacity confirmation for Ayr United

Following an application made to East Ayrshire Council, the club can confirm a capacity of 3,692 Season Ticket holders has been granted for Monday’s cinch Championship opener against Ayr United.

We’ll try and answer as many questions as possible for supporters below.

How was this capacity reached?

The club applied to East Ayrshire Council for an increase to the 2,000 capacity allowed by the Scottish Government in Level 0.

Following discussions with the Safety Advisory Group, the 3,692 figure was the maximum the local authority would grant.

Will all four stands be in use for fans?

The match will be open to home supporters only with all four stands in use.

The club has been granted dispensation to use a small portion of the Frank Beattie Stand in order to maximise our capacity for this match.

Who will get in to Monday’s game?

Only Kilmarnock supporters who have purchased a season ticket will be allowed access to this match. All supporters who have purchased a Season Ticket by 6pm this evening (27/07/21) will be guaranteed a ticket to Monday’s game.

In order to prioritise space for season ticket holders, there will be no match hospitality out with Chairman’s Club seasonal members, which totals 50 people.

Please note, your season ticket is non-transferable and must not be given to anyone else.

Can I use my current season pass?

An explanation of how entry will work is included in the section below.

Current season passes will not allow entry due to safety reporting constraints, that must ensure accurate stand and block information is collected for track and trace purposes.

Where will I be seated in the stadium?

Season Ticket holders will be allocated a socially distanced seat in the stadium. A digital season pass will be sent via email and text. Please note, that we cannot accommodate requests for stand or seats of your preference due to time constraints and restrictions.

If you are unable to use a digital pass or unable to print this at home, please contact the ticket office and they will arrange for this to be printed for your collection.

The stadium will be mapped to create a family section to ensure parents and young children can sit together.

Further safety information and details around entry times for all stands will be published in due course.

What are the Ticket Office opening hours?

The Ticket Office will be open at the following times

Wednesday 28th 10am – 12pm
Thursday 29th 10am – 12pm
Friday 30th July 10am – 12pm
Saturday & Sunday – Closed
