Billy Bowie Special Projects Launches Killie Skips initiative
Billy Bowie Special Projects has announced the launch of Killie Skips.
This is a new community initiative that will see £10 from EVERY skip hire donated directly to Kilmarnock Football Club.
The initiative will run as an ongoing programme across Kilmarnock and Ayrshire, offering supporters and local residents a simple, practical way to support the club while responsibly managing waste.
Billy Bowie Special Projects has played a significant role in supporting Kilmarnock FC and the wider community for many years. As majority shareholder and long-standing investor in the club, Billy Bowie has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the future of the club.
Killie Skips represents a natural extension of that support, creating a visible, community-led mechanism that allows local people to contribute.
Billy Bowie, owner of BBSP, said: “Kilmarnock Football Club has always been at the heart of the community, and that connection is stronger than ever through Killie Community. Through Billy Bowie Special Projects, we’ve supported the club for many years and continue to invest in its future.
“Killie Skips is about putting that support straight back into the community, giving people a simple, practical way to manage their waste while directly supporting the club at the same time.”
The Killie Skips, finished in the club’s distinctive blue and white colours, will be visible throughout the region.
Beyond its support for the club, the initiative also reflects the increasing demand for responsible and sustainable waste management solutions. Billy Bowie Special Projects operates a state-of-the-art recycling facility, ensuring waste is processed efficiently and handled in line with strict environmental standards.
The launch of Killie Skips comes at a pivotal moment for Kilmarnock FC, as BBSP continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to the club’s growth and success.
This latest initiative aligns with ongoing investment in the club’s future, most notably the development of a new training ground designed to strengthen infrastructure, support player development, and build sustained progress both on and off the pitch.
Whether driven by club pride or the choice to work with a trusted local provider, Killie Skips offers a practical way for the community to play its part.
