Ben Brannan signs three-year deal

We are delighted to announce that academy graduate Ben Brannan has signed a new three-year deal with Kilmarnock.

In a statement of intent from the club and manager Stuart Kettlewell, we can confirm that Brannan has penned a contract until 2028.

Breaking into the first team this season, Ben has already made his mark with three goals in the Premier Sports Cup group stages and he’s excited for more.

Ben said: “I am buzzing to get this deal done, it was a really easy decision to sign this deal.

“I’ve started getting game time this season, I now want to build on that and try and become a regular and make a spot in the team my own, I just need to do the best I can and keep working hard.

“Being local since I was young makes it even more special, I remember coming to the games watching in the stands and being ball boy too, it’s a special moment for me and my family.”

Manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “Ben is a player who has impressed me since day one, he has all the right attributes that we are looking for to be an important part of the squad.

“I already knew of Ben’s qualities before this season due to his impressive performances for the Under 18s, in which he captained them to the Youth Cup at Hampden, and also his beneficial loan spell at Inverness.

“We are delighted Ben has decided to sign this deal and we’re confident we can help him work towards his high potential, I’ve made no secret about the fact young players will get the chance if they’re ready, and now it’s up to Ben to stake his claim for a regular spot.

“It has been a great start this season for him but now it’s important he builds on that.”
