Armstrong: ‘Big game’ experience will serve us well

Danny Armstrong believes that Kilmarnock can call on the experience of last season’s title decider against Arbroath as the side prepare for a “huge” midweek clash with Dundee United.

Speaking on Tuesday, the Killie winger said: “That was massive in getting the club back where we belong. We took care of that one and it got us to this point here: this game is just as important.

“Having that last season shows what it means to us and the fans to be a Premiership club. There is going to be nerves, but we need to be cool, calm and focused on taking care of the game.”
