Archie Traynor agrees new deal
Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce that academy product Archie Traynor has signed a contract extension.
The 17-year-old has agreed to fresh terms which sees him commit his future to the club until December 2027.
Soon to be 18, the midfielder captained our Under-19s side under the guidance of Kris Doolan and assistant manager Kirk Broadfoot. He signed his first professional deal with Ayrshire’s finest in 2024.
Archie is a full Scotland U17s internationalist having made five caps for his country. In more recent times, he received call-ups to the U19s set-up too.
Archie has also spent time out on loan with Whitletts Victoria to gain important minutes to help with his development.
He will report for pre-season training with the rest of the Killie squad towards the end of June as he aims to push towards a first team breakthrough.
