An update on the Bowie Park Training Facility

Kilmarnock FC and Thomson Hunter Associates have initiated the third round of discussions for development of the Bowie Park Training Facility.

The club is pleased to announce that the project is positively evolving through feedback from each consultation phase. Following the first two rounds of discussions, feedback is being welcomed on the exciting new development plans which now feature a stand capable of accommodating around 250 seats, a car park with 45 spaces, and an overflow car park with 59 spaces including 2 bus parking spots.

Additionally, the development will include two 11-a-side pitches and a 9-a-side grass pitch, along with an advanced training facility building. You can read more about the development – HERE.

The upcoming consultation sessions are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday 6th September: 4-8pm (Kilmarnock FC Museum, Rugby Park)

Thursday 21st September: 1-8pm (Kilmarnock FC Museum, Rugby Park)

A warm invitation is extended to all members of the community who are welcome to attend these sessions, observe the development’s evolution over time, and share their feedback.

Comment sheets will be available during both consultation events. For those unable to attend in person, you can still participate by providing comments or posing questions about the project via the following link:

You have the opportunity to leave comments on the dedicated community consultation webpage up until Monday 2nd October.

Once a formal planning application is submitted, there will be an opportunity to directly address East Ayrshire Council’s Planning Department with your feedback and opinions.
