Alex: ‘We’ve got our own targets’
Alex Dyer says his Killie side are raring to go for Wednesday night’s acid test against Celtic.
The champions arrive in Ayrshire with four wins from their past five league matches, with only a derby defeat to Rangers souring the record,
But after a morale raising 6-0 win against Queen’s Park in the Scottish Cup, the manager hopes the confidence his team displayed against the Spiders can continue when we step out onto the pitch on the return to league action tomorrow night.
“We know when they come here, it’s going to be a tough game,” he told the assembled media ahead of the game.
“We respect Celtic, but they’re coming to Kilmarnock and we’re going to do the best we can. I want to work hard and put them under pressure.”
