March 31 2023 2012 League Cup final: shirt auction
Kilmarnock shirts worn in the famous League Cup Final at Hampden Park in 2012 are set to go on auction to raise funds for the club’s youth academy.
Supporters are being offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a unique piece of club history, with the jerseys of Gary Harkins, Michael Nelson, Dean Shiels, Ben Gordon, Paul Heffernan and Mohamadou Sissoko all up for grabs.
After being donated by the KFCSA, proceeds raised from the shirts will support funding of the youth academy’s Under-13 and Under-14 squads’ participation in the Northern Ireland SuperCup tournament this summer.
Hosted by fan engagement platform MatchWornShirt, the auction commences at 2pm on Saturday 1st April and will close at 1pm on Saturday 8th April.
