Killie came away with nothing in the first home match of the 2026/27 season against Celtic, as the league champions earned all three points in Ayrshire.
However, Neil McCann’s side topped their group in first stage of the Premier Sports Cup, picking up victories against Raith Rovers, Elgin City and Hamilton Accies.
AYR UNITED
Ayr have started life under Gary Naysmith in brightly, with four points from their opening two Championship matches against Arbroath and Dunfermline.

Tickets for the derby have been on sale since Tuesday, August 4.
Season ticket seats were held until 10am on Monday, August 10. General sale commenced afterwards.

ADMISSION
Turnstiles will open at 6.30pm throughout the stadium – one hour and 15 minutes prior to kick-off.
Kilmarnock supporters should be aware that access to the East Stand from Rugby Road is NOT permitted.
Numerous kiosks will be open before and during the match for fans in attendance, but please note these are card only.
We encourage supporters to be in the ground at least five minutes prior to the beginning of the game, when the sound system will be silenced, giving supporters the chance to make some noise, show their colours and ramp up the atmosphere before the teams emerge from the tunnel.
MATCH COVERAGE
The match will be available to watch live on Premier Sports 1.
International subscribers can also watch live on Killie TV, with commentary from Kieron Calderwood, Andrew Milligan and Adam Lyon, while live updates will be available across the club’s official social media channels throughout the evening.
MATCHDAY GET TOGETHER
The Killie Community Hub will be open for the Matchday Get Together.
Supporters are welcome to pop in, meet up with fellow Killie fans and enjoy a tea or coffee and something to eat before making the short walk over to BBSP Stadium Rugby Park for kick-off.
