Successful James Frew partnership continues
Kilmarnock Football Club is delighted to reveal that James Frew Ltd has agreed to continue as our Official Title Shirt Partner for the 2026/27 season.
One of the largest employers in the west of Scotland and beyond, James Frew Ltd are a valued, long-standing partner of Killie, and the club are excited to have extended the highly successful relationship, which, in that time, has seen the club finish fourth in the Scottish Premiership, participate in three European qualifiers and maintain its status as the country’s top provincial team.
James Frew Ltd initially committed to a three-year partnership to become our main shirt sponsors in 2023. This new deal further establishes both the club and James Frew’s pledge to futureproof commercial agreements by growing relationships with local establishments.
The Stevenston-based business, who are a leading provider of building services and integrated property solutions, including plumbing, heating and electrical services, are a family-run organisation that have been in operation since 1911.
Supporters of the club for well over 30 years, the company have held a special place in the Killie family and were previously sleeve sponsors with GasSure.
James Frew Ltd will be officially unveiled as front of shirt sponsors when the 26/27 home and away kits are released very soon.
Roddy Frew, managing director of James Frew Ltd, commented: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Kilmarnock FC as lifelong fans of our local club, with deep family connections, and many fellow Killie supporters within the business.
“Over the past three seasons, having our name at the forefront of all Kilmarnock first team and women’s kits has been terrific for our brand, enabling us to increase our reach with new audiences.
“Our commitment to Ayrshire extends far beyond football. During that same period, we have employed 34 modern apprentices across our plumbing, joinery, and electrical divisions, with 26 recruited from Ayrshire, helping to create opportunities and develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople within our local communities.
“We are excited about what’s to come in the next campaign, with Neil and Billy getting a full pre-season to work with the players, and we hope it will be a fruitful time for everyone associated with the top club in Ayrshire.”
Gregg McEwan, general manager, said: “We’ve worked hard to establish strong relationships with local businesses who are truly invested in the club’s long-term success.
“James Frew Ltd embody exactly the type of partner that we aspire to work alongside. Their dedication to support the local community is paramount to everything they do, and we are extremely proud to have them on board for a further year as our primary shirt sponsor. We hope to deliver Roddy and his team with more iconic moments in the club’s history moving forward.
“Exciting times lie ahead with a return to grass at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park and the completion of phase one at Bowie Park, as we also aim to build on a period of record retail sales.”
