Max Stryjek signs new deal

Kilmarnock Football Club is excited to announce that Max Stryjek has signed a new contract.

The Polish goalkeeper has agreed to a one-year extension at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, committing his future to Killie until the summer of 2027.

Max joined the club from Jagiellonia Białystok last July and has made 16 appearances for Ayrshire’s finest since settling in the town.

Truly an inspiration, the 29-year-old overcame open-heart surgery last November, returning to the first-team picture by the end of January 2026. This serious health issue essentially kept him out of the team for around six months after it was flagged during routine screening in early October.

He made his first start during our first post-split fixture against Aberdeen in late-April, and neither himself nor the team looked back, as the goalkeeper played a vital part in Neil McCann guiding the club to Scottish Premiership safety.

We are ecstatic to have Max on board for the 2026/27 season, and look forward to seeing his contributions in the campaign ahead after a well-earned summer break.
