Aberdeen (A) team news

Neil McCann has named his Kilmarnock team for this afternoon’s William Hill Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie Stadium.

The manager has made two changes to the starting XI which drew 2-2 with Dundee last time out.

Max Stryjek and Nicky Cleșcenco have been drafted into the team, replacing Kelle Roos and Bruce Anderson, who have been named among the substitutes. The latter makes his first start for the club since his January arrival, while the former makes his first appearance since undergoing heart surgery in November. Stryjek last played in our 2-0 victory over St Mirren in early October.

As McCann discussed in his pre-match press duties, both Marley Watkins and Jack Thomson are absent due to knocks sustained in recent games.

Stryjek is between the sticks, with an unchanged back four of Jamie Brandon, George Stanger, Robbie Deas and Schjønning-Larsen – who has recovered from a knock in time to play.

The midfield is comprised of Aaron Tshibola, Tom Lowery and Greg Kiltie – with the former playing in a slightly more advanced role. Both Cleșcenco and Findlay Curtis are on the flanks, while Joe Hugill is the lone striker.

Kelle Roos, Dominic Thompson, Zac Williams, Lewis Mayo, Rory McKenzie, Brad Lyons, David Watson, Kyle Magennis and Bruce Anderson are on the bench.
