Kilmarnock 1-2 Celtic
Kilmarnock were defeated 2-1 after a late penalty from Celtic.
Chances were at an absolute premium in the first half, with the first real effort coming from Cameron Carter-Vickers three minutes before the break, Max Stryjek dealt with it well though.
David Watson went close a few minutes into the second half, he attempted to poke it home with his toe but it didn’t do enough to trouble Kasper Schmeichel.
Celtic then took the lead in the 57th minute as Daizen Maeda headed past a helpless Stryjek.
Celtic were awarded a penalty five minutes into stoppage-time which was converted by Kelechi Iheanacho.
