Match Preview: Celtic (H)

William Hill Scottish Premiership– Game Week 5

Sunday  14th September – 3pm | BBSP Stadium Rugby Park

Last Time Out: Killie

Kilmarnock had to settle for a point at Fir Park after a 2-2 draw with Motherwell. Killie were on top for large spells, extending our unbeaten run to nine games in 90 minutes.

Djenairo Daniels fired Killie into an early lead, but Tawanda Maswanhise struck on the stroke of half-time to level for the hosts. On the hour mark, Emmanuel Longelo put Motherwell ahead, but Killie kept pushing and were rewarded late on when George Stanger netted the equaliser.

Last Time Out: Celtic
Celtic’s last outing came against Rangers, which ended in a 0-0 draw at Ibrox. The match was tightly contested, with both sides battling for control. Rangers thought they had taken the lead in the first half through John Souttar, but his effort was ruled out for offside.
