Innes Cameron departs
After over a decade at the club, Innes Cameron will be moving on following the expiry of his contract.
He’ll join Barrow AFC in English League Two and we’d like to place on record our thanks to Innes for his time at BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park.
Innes came through our Academy after joining at 13 years old and has been part of the fabric of the club ever since.
On his departure, Innes said: “I can’t believe the day has finally come to say goodbye.
“From joining the youth system at 13, making my professional debut at 16, and to ending my time at the club at almost 25, it has been an honour to represent the club for so long and have loved every second of it!
“I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone, from my youth coaches, managers, teammates, backroom staff, and everyone associated with the club for being such a big part of my life, making the last 11 years at the club so enjoyable.
“I have met so many amazing people, made life long friendships and endless memories I will look back on fondly.
“And the Killie fans, thank you for the endless support both home and away through all the ups and downs there has been!
“Those European nights were special, I hope there is more to come.
“I wish the club nothing but every success in the future and will be keeping a keen eye on the score every weekend!”
From his first-team debut to important goals in blue and white, he’s always given his all for Kilmarnock.
Innes has been a proper professional and a credit to himself and the club.
Good luck, Innes!
