Match report: Kilmarnock 1-1 Dundee | Reserves
Kilmarnock secured a late draw against Dundee in an SPFL Reserve League clash at BBSP Rugby Park this afternoon.
Ben Brannan had a decent chance after 20 minutes – he fired a shot at goal but it was well saved by Harry Sharp.
A lovely passage of play led to Aaron Brown getting through on goal in the 28th minute – his low shot was cleared over the crossbar by the Dundee defence.
Dundee found themselves in front in the 40th minute as Finlay Allan fired low past Aidan Glavin.
Ashton Leiper was through on goal after 73 minutes and looked like he’d double Dundee’s lead – but his tame effort was dealt with by Glavin.
Cole Burke went close late on but he fired over the crossbar, minutes later though Killie were awarded a penalty for handball.
Brannan stepped up and calmly sent Sharp the wrong way to score a stoppage-time equaliser.
