Match preview: Aberdeen (A)


Kilmarnock head north this weekend to take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup quarter-final, with a trip to Hampden awaiting the winner of the 12.15pm kick-off.

Killie have won all three clashes between the sides this season, scoring five and conceding none in those matches.

Last time out at Pittodrie in December David Watson scored a memorable late winner to send the Ayrshire fans home delighted.

Derek McInnes will be hoping to secure a trip to the national stadium in back-to-back seasons for Killie.

Travelling support

Killie are expected to take over 1500 fans to the Granite City, the largest Killie support in the North East in recent memory.

Supporter information

Buses heading to Pittodrie should head directly to the stadium and drop off supporters before parking up.

Turnstiles 2, 4, 6 and 8 will be opening at 11.15am, with supporters encouraged to enter as early as possible to avoid delays.

Unoffensive flags will be permitted, but those on poles will not. Megaphones will not be allowed.

Both cash and card will be accepted at food and drink kiosks.

There are no cash gates at Pittodrie and there will be no away end tickets available at the stadium.
