Precision return as community partners for 2019/20
The Kilmarnock Community Sports Trust (KCST) is delighted to announce that Precision Tooling will continue to sponsor the club’s community programmes for the new season.
The Ayrshire engineering giants have invested heavily in the club over the past few years, and their continued presence behind the scenes at Rugby Park is one that keeps our great community club out and about providing fun, fitness and memories to local communities.
Killie’s Community Engagement Manager, Paul Di Giacomo, was thrilled at the news of the renewal of the partnership, adding that their support was important to ensuring that the trust’s community programmes could happen.
He said: “Allan and Graham from Precision have always been terrific backers of the club and our community programmes. I’m delighted they are on board as the club’s official community partner for 2019/20 as the difference they have made already is noticeable.
“This summer, instead of running traditional camps, the club have teamed up with Active Schools to place greater emphasis on getting experienced coaches, and fun equipment like the Hexagol, in and around the local community. Without support from Precision Tooling this simply wouldn’t be possible and we can’t thank them enough.”
Kilmarnock director Cathy Jamieson echoed Jacko’s thoughts, and thanked Precision for ensuring that Killie continue to shine as one of Scotland’s leading community clubs.
She said: “It’s brilliant to see that Precision are back on board, supporting the club and our community department as we push forward into another season.
“Their input behind the scenes at the club has been appreciated for a good few years now, so to see this continuing is something quite special for us.”
As a lifelong fan, Precision director Allan Brese spoke of his delight at helping out his boyhood heroes, and how happy he and his company are at giving something back to the wider Ayrshire community.
With their renewed backing, he hopes that the KCST will now have the scope to expand their services that bit wider.
He said: “We are delighted to sign up. Graham and I have supported the club for many years now and luckily we are in the position to be able to help by sponsoring. It’s great to be able to reach out and help reconnect with supporters who can’t always make it along as easily as others. Paul and his team do a great job and we’re delighted that with our support, he can reach out that little bit wider.
“It’s great to see the kids smiling and enjoying themselves. The summer is a long spell off for them, so having the community programmes is a great portal for the kids and their parents. We look forward to watching this develop throughout the new season.”
