Dennis: ‘Fans turned Rugby Park into a fortress’

Will Dennis has praised the influence of Kilmarnock’s support after experiencing a packed Rugby Park for the first time on Saturday evening, stating that backing of the home fans got his team “over the line”.

Speaking to press for the first time since joining on loan from Bournemouth, Dennis said: “We go into games with the mentality that we can beat anyone. They come to a tough place, it’s a fortress with the fans that we have got. You saw them on Saturday, they turned up in numbers, boosted us for 90 minutes and got us over the line.”
