The Northern Ireland international is in his second spell with Killie, having scored 13 goals in 13 games during his first Rugby Park spell in 2020/21.
A natural goalscorer, his career has taken him to Burnley, Rangers, Sion (Switzerland), Palermo (Italy), Norwich City, Caykur Rizespor (Turkey), Hearts, Sarpsborg (Norway), Sunderland, Reggina (Italy) and Anorthosis Famagusta (Cyprus).
Kyle continued his hig scoring rate, making it 21 goals in 28 appearances to help Killie to the 2021/22 Championship title and promotion back to the Premiership.
