Steve Clarke says Kilmarnock will have to produce their maximum performance to get a positive result against champions Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers brings his double treble winning side to Rugby Park on Sunday following a 1-0 Europa League triumph over Rosenborg in midweek.

Killie are unbeaten in three matches against the champions under Steve Clarke, gaining one win and two draws during that spell.

"It's always a difficult game against Celtic. We have to play at our very, very best to get anything," said the Killie boss.

"In training this week that's what we have been working towards. I feel that in the games we have played this year we have been competitive in every game.

"If we are competitive we can give anyone in the league a game."

The manager also reflected on Youssouf Mulumbu's Rugby Park return and gave a squad fitness update ahead of the match.
