Cammy Bell and Gary Dicker returned to action as Kilmarnock's Development Squad went down 2-0 to Aberdeen.

Dicker, who has recently returned to first team training, stepped up his recovery by taking to the field for the first time since pre season. 

Bell also made his first appearance of the campaign, replacing Curtis Lyle in goals. 

The Dons had a few experienced players of their own with Mark Reynolds, Dominic Ball and Nicky Maynard all featuring in the match at Brechin's Glebe Park.

Aberdeen took the lead minutes before the interval with Connor McLennan finding the net. 

Nicky Maynard doubled the Dons' advantage four minutes after the restart with Killie unable to find a way back into the match.
